Since its debut in 1984, the Adidas Forum was a favorite among athletes, rappers, and the general public. This loyalty helped the sneaker dominate the cultural landscape decades ago. Adidas goes back in time into their archives in partnership with BAPE for this particular iteration of the shoe, and what came out was a contemporary take on the classic basketball-inspired shape. The iconic X and ankle strap, which coexist here with iconic BAPE and adidas branding, is the most distinctive design element. The sockliner cover, full grain leather overlays, and an additional pair of laces that can be replaced with the other two laces all include the classic BAPE ABC camo found on this edition in collaboration with the brand.
In honor of BAPE's 30th anniversary, a unique logo commemorates the occasion on the tongue label. Additionally, a gold lace lock featuring the iconic ape head can be see on the laces. The pair is made complete with a special shoebox alongside a mesh bag.
