Nike has brought a dramatic new colorway in black, grey, and scarlet to its classic AF1 model. The shoe's upper, eyestays, and heels are all smooth grey leather, which contrasts with the shoe's tumbled leather, which is mostly black. The medial side panel gets a pop of color from the crimson accents on the Swoosh branding and stitching, while the majority of the upper is composed of alternating patches of darker tones. The tongue of the shoe has commemorative tags, such the NBA emblem and the number 75, to recognize the anniversary and celebrate the sneaker's unique occasion.
