An uncommon example of a highly recognized dunk by Nike SB, as well as the second Nike design that drew inspiration from Mexican culture. The festive motifs were created by Christian Salinas Medina and show the Aztec God of the Underworld drawing souls out into the world. Dunks were first made available for basketball in 1985, but their success among skateboarders led to the 2002 introduction of the SB series, which had Zoom air soles and more protection.
