The original 1989 “Military Blue” version of the Air Jordan 4 features the same colour blocking and construction as the latest Air Jordan 4 Retro “Military Black.” The top is made of smooth white leather and is supported by a forefoot overlay made of grey suede.
The TPU eyelets, moulded heel tab, and Jumpman emblem on the knitted tongue tag all have striking black highlights in the Air Jordan 4 Retro Military Black. A two-tone polyurethane midsole, along with a visible Air-sole element underneath the heel, provides lightweight padding. Considering that the midsole as well as outsole accents choose to preserve the two-tone, “yin-and-yang”-appropriate colour scheme, the story remains the same on the most recent Air Jordan model underneath. The Air Jordan 4 Retro, a basketball sneaker, combines modern and retro design elements.
